WILLINGBORO, NJ — Officers at the Willingboro Township Police Department received an unexpected delivery when a member of the New Jersey Air National Guard arrived with pizzas for the department.
Staff Sergeant Cartwright, who serves with the New Jersey Air National Guard at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, donated the food, according to a Willingboro police announcement.
“A big thank you to Staff Sergeant Cartwright of the New Jersey Air National Guard at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst for generously donating pizzas to our officers,” the department said.
Police called it a thoughtful gesture of support for the men and women serving the Burlington County community.
