A Hamilton Avenue ticket hit a third-tier prize in Saturday night’s drawing
WHITE PLAINS, NY – A Powerball ticket sold at a White Plains food mart scored a $50,000 prize in Saturday’s drawing, bringing another third-tier Powerball win to New York.
The New York Lottery said the winning ticket was purchased at SPSJ Food Mart, located at 274 Hamilton Ave. in White Plains.
The ticket won $50,000 in the Sept. 12 Powerball drawing.
No additional details about the ticket purchase or whether the prize had been claimed were included in the Lottery’s announcement.
Powerball players choose five numbers from a field of 1 through 69 and a red Powerball from a separate field of 1 through 26.
Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
The New York Lottery reported contributing $3.6 billion to public schools across the state during fiscal year 2025-2026.
