Georgetown Man Slipped Out of Handcuffs, Stole Sheriff’s Car

GEORGTOWN, SC – Deputies from Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office have taken Samuel Adam Robinson, 38, into custody without incident. Robinson is accused of slipping from handcuffs and stealing a Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office vehicle early today. The vehicle was recovered undamaged with all equipment intact. He is being charged with larceny, failure to stop, driving under suspension 3rd, resisting arrest and possession of a weapon by a felon. Georgetown Police Department has a warrant for his arrest on armed robbery charges. Robinson is being held at Georgetown County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
