NEWARK, DE – A home on the outskirts of the campus of the University of Delaware was the scene of an armed home invasion, according to the University campus police department. Police said several armed men broke into a home on Church Street, near Willard Hall and McDowell Hall, brandishing firearms. The suspects fled on foot and police have not yet reported their capture. Students and faculty are asked to remain vigilant. The department told students on first floor buildings and dorms to lock their windows.
