GOYA CEO Says Coronavirus Weaponized Against People, “We are not one nation under Twitter”

GOYA Foods CEO Robert Unanue has faced a ton of criticism since he visited the White House last year.  A liberal-left lead boycott of GOYA was met with a “Buycott” which ended up leading the company to its most successful year on record.  GOYA foods, which sells packaged and canned goods was a perfect supermarket staple for millions of Americans locked in their homes and forced out of work during the COVID-19 shutdown.

Now, he’s saying the shutdowns were a political weapon used against the people.

“The problem is, it’s a political year and they weaponized coronavirus,” Unanue said. “The worst thing we can do is shut down our economy, kill our spirit. We need a reason to get up in the morning, God, family, work and they’re taking away our spirit and our ability to work.”

Unanue feels state government in mostly Democrat, or “blue” states declared martial law.

“We’re not one nation under Twitter,” he said.

“It’s the worst thing they could have done, it’s criminal and immoral,” he said.”We need to move closer to God. They want to cancel God. They want to cancel our speech. They want to cancel our culture, our history. Our liberty.”
