Woman, four-year-old child struck by bullets after getting out of car at their home

COLUMBUS, OH On Saturday 6/12/21 at 10:57 p.m. Officers were called to 328 Westpot Dr. on the report of a shooting. When they arrived., they found an adult female victim with a graze wound to her right arm. Her four-year-old child was struck once in his right foot.

The victim explained that they just arrived In the parking lot of their apartment complex. Once they parked, her son got out of the car. A shootout broke out just as they were exiting the car and stray bullets struck them both. The adult female was unable to say where the shots were coming from.
