Arrested made in Bluewater Bay shooting

BLUEWATER BAY, FL – The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in connection with a shooting that injured an 18-year old Crestview man on April 10th in Bluewater Bay.

20-year old Isiah Michael Hazellette of Laura Lane in Niceville has an active OCSO warrant for aggravated assault with a weapon, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, and firing a deadly missile into a vehicle.

Deputies were called to the area of Bluewater Boulevard and Antigua Cove around 2:10 p.m. on April 10th after receiving multiple calls of shots fired. Deputies found spent casing in the middle of the intersection.

The OCSO was then notified that a shooting victim was at a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
