Cinnaminson Report Multiple Car Burglaries This Week

By Charlie Dwyer / July 12, 2022

CINNAMINSON, NJ – If you live in Cinnaminson, remember to lock your car doors at night and remove all valuables from your vehicles. Car burglars are once again targeting the community.

According to police, overnight from Saturday through Monday, between the hours of approximately 11 pm and 2 am. , car burglars were operating in Cinnaminson Township in the area of the Smethwycke Neighborhood.

“Cinnaminson Police officers on patrol detected the burglars and interrupted them in the act. Officers gave chase and were able to apprehend one of the suspects involved. At least one subject evaded police and has not yet been identified,” police said.

Multiple vehicles in the neighborhood were targeted.

“The Cinnaminson Police are aware of multiple residents in the area that were victimized and we ask that anyone who can provide information or relevant surveillance camera footage reach out to the Cinnaminson Police Department,” the department said. “Please check your vehicles and ensure that nothing is out of place or was stolen from the vehicle overnight.”
