NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department reported today that they are searching for a group of men who posed as DEA agents in order to facilitate a carjacking in Queens last week.
Police said the men pulled their guns on the driver and identified themselves as DEA agents. A struggle ensued in the street and the August 10th incident before the men got into the victim’s car and drove away.
The suspects were able to flee before police arrival, but we’re captured on two nearby surveillance video cameras including one in front of the 108th Precinct headquarters.
According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
