Stafford firefighters stay hot with live burn training in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Firefighters from the Stafford Township Volunteer firefighters spent time this week training at the start-of-the-art Toms River Fire Academy on Church Road in Toms River.

The firefighters got to refresh their skills practicing various firefighting scenarios.

“Members trained on several scenarios that ranged from use of a standpipe system, water can extinguishers, stretching for first floor fire, search and rescue of a victim as well as basement fires,” the department said.
