Although she looks like Toto, Lady is a little girl, but they do have the same wish, “there’s no place like home”. Lady has been dreaming of a home of her own and we’re hoping that her dream will come true real soon. Lady is a 4 year old cairn terrier that came to us from our Newark facility when she was picked up as a stray. How on earth could this tiny little girl become a stray on the streets of a big city? She is very happy to be safe and warm now, and ready to start meeting potential families. Lady is a gentle and sweet little girl that is very easy going and calm. She makes friends very easily and while she takes a moment or two to sniff out a new situation, she gets comfortable quickly, and she would make an easy transition into a new home. Lady is very well behaved and is perfect on a leash. She will sit nicely when asked and takes treats very gently. Once she gets to know you, she will climb right up in your lap to take a snooze and get some attention. Lady doesn’t seem to mind other well behaved dogs and would do best with more mature children. This lovely little girl is clicking her heels, and waiting for the perfect family to whisk her away into a great home. File#24212 12/10/14
