D.C. Police arrest fugitive attempted murder suspect

The D.C. Metro Police Department has announced the arrest of a man wanted for a shooting in early December,

In connection with an attempted murder offense that occurred on Wednesday, December 7, in the 100 block of Galveston Place, Southwest, an arrest has been made.

In response to a report of gunshots at the listed location at approximately 11:53 pm, members of the Seventh District responded.

When the members arrived, they found an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Anthony Coleman, 31, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Kill, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
