NEW YORK CITY, NY – A string of burglaries has been reported within the 111 Precinct of the New York City Police Department. Police are seeking assistance in locating the unidentified individual responsible.
The first reported incident occurred on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at approximately 2:54 pm, when an unknown male broke into a residential home near 192 Street and Station Road through a side window. The burglar unplugged the Wi-Fi router and absconded with roughly $16,000 worth of cash, jewelry, and handbags.
The second incident took place on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at around 11:55 am. The same suspect allegedly broke into another residential home near 192 Street and 53 Avenue, again through a side window, unplugged the Wi-Fi router, and stole approximately $50,000 worth of cash and jewelry.
The suspect was last seen wearing orange gloves. There were no injuries reported in either incident.
