Man Shot In Southeast D.C., Suspect Caught On Camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s detectives are reaching out to the public, urging them to come forward with any information that can help identify and locate a suspect connected to a shooting in Southeast, D.C. on Monday evening.

At approximately 6:16 pm, authorities received a report of a shooting at the 1200 block of Valley Avenue. Responding promptly, officers arrived at the scene and found an adult male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect. If you have any information about this incident, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. This case remains under investigation.
