Groping Suspect Sought in Midtown Subway Station

NEW YORK, NY The New York City Police Department is investigating a forcible touching incident that took place in Midtown, Manhattan. Authorities have released media footage in hopes that someone may recognize the individual involved.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred on Wednesday, July 12, at approximately 1:25 p.m., inside the West 34th Street and 6th Avenue subway station. The victim, a 28-year-old woman, had just exited the northbound “W” train when an unidentified male approached her and slapped her buttocks. The suspect quickly fled the scene, exiting the subway station and heading southbound on 6th Avenue.

The NYPD has obtained media footage capturing the individual near the location where the incident took place. The footage is available at the Department of Crime Prevention and Investigation (DCPI).
