Man Found Asleep in Strangers’ Bedroom, Arrested

CUMBERLAND, MD – On Monday, Cumberland City Police were called to a Wempe Dr residence after homeowners reported an unknown male asleep in their bedroom.

The man was identified as Charles Russell Servis Jr, 48, of Cumberland.

Upon further inspection, Servis was discovered to be in possession of a controlled substance.

Following an investigation, Servis was arrested and charged with 4th Degree Burglary and CDS Possession-Not Marijuana.

After an Initial Appearance, he was released on his own recognizance.
