D.C. Shooting Claims Life of 35-Year-Old Man

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Homicide Branch of the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is actively investigating a fatal shooting in Southeast D.C. that occurred on Monday afternoon, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Rodney Snead from District Heights, MD.

The incident unfolded around 3:09 p.m. in the 4200 block of 4th Street. Police, upon arrival at the scene, discovered Snead with a gunshot wound. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the location.

The Metro Police Department is reaching out to the community for any information that could lead to an understanding of the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
