Man Slashed Outside Greenwich Village Bar

The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying an assailant involved in a recent assault. The incident occurred on Friday, at approximately 5:10 am, outside The Red Lion at 151 Thompson Street.

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying an assailant involved in a recent assault.

The incident occurred on Friday, at approximately 5:10 am, outside The Red Lion at 151 Thompson Street.

The report details that a 33-year-old male was attacked by an unidentified male who slashed his neck following a verbal altercation.

The assailant fled east on Bleecker Street. The victim was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.

The NYPD described the suspect as a male in his 20s or 30s, with a light complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, white sneakers, and a black face mask. Anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD.
