PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 28-year-old Black male was critically injured in a shooting on 54XX Poplar Street in the 19th District around 9:30 pm.
The victim suffered gunshot wounds to the neck and left shoulder and was transported to HUP Cedar Hospital by a private vehicle.
He is currently in critical but stable condition.
The Philadelphia Police Department has not made any arrests, and no weapon has been recovered as of now.
The investigation is ongoing, and the scene of the shooting has not been identified.
