D.C. Police Hunt for Armed Carjacker Caught On Camera

WASHINGTON, DC – Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect and a vehicle involved in a recent aggravated assault and vehicle theft incident. The event took place on the evening of December 1, 2023, in the 1100 block of Dahlia Street, Northwest.

The incident occurred at about 10:49 p.m. when a suspect, after exiting a vehicle, unlawfully entered the victim’s vehicle. Upon being confronted by the victim, the suspect threatened them with a handgun and subsequently fled the scene in the victim’s car, following another vehicle believed to be involved.

Law enforcement has obtained surveillance footage capturing both the suspects and their vehicle.
