NYPD Says Assault and Robbery of 15-Year-Old Was Motivated by Hate

BROOKLYN, NY – Police are investigating a bias-related attempted robbery that occurred on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at around 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Sutter Avenue. The victim, a 15-year-old male, was accosted by four individuals who made disparaging remarks about his ethnicity and demanded he surrender his belongings.

The suspects, described as three males and one female with varying complexions, fled the scene without causing physical harm to the victim. The police are seeking the public’s help in identifying these individuals.

No arrests have been made as of yet, and the investigation continues.
