WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department is calling on the community for assistance in identifying and apprehending a suspect involved in a recent aggravated assault. The incident, which took place in the 2300 block of Pitts Place, Southeast, was reported early Friday morning.

Responding to a distress call at around 9:09 a.m., police officers discovered an adult male victim with non-life-threatening injuries. Medical assistance was provided, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect wearing different clothing. The police are urging anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of this individual to call (202) 727-9099 or text anonymously to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411
