Arrests Made in Attempted Armed Robbery in Baltimore

Baltimore, MD—The Baltimore Police Department has announced the apprehension of two individuals following an attempted armed robbery incident in the city’s Central District. Officers swiftly responded to a call reporting the incident at 700 South Eden Street on April 19, 2024, around 3:40 p.m.

Upon arrival, law enforcement officials interviewed a male victim who recounted being accosted by two unidentified males. One of the assailants brandished a pocket knife while attempting to forcibly seize the victim’s phone. Despite the threat, the victim bravely resisted, prompting both suspects to flee on foot.

Utilizing surveillance cameras in the vicinity, officers successfully located and pursued the suspects, leading to their eventual apprehension. The two individuals, aged 21 and 18, were taken into custody and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where they face charges related to the attempted armed robbery.
