October 7, 2023

ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP, NJ – Alex Mann, a 23-year-old from Chester County, Pennsylvania, visited the Aberdeen Township Police Department on October 6th as part of his mission to show appreciation for law enforcement and raise autism awareness.

Diagnosed with autism from a young age, Mann’s visit to Aberdeen marked the 428th police department he has toured, covering five states in the last five years. Throughout his journey, he seeks to educate officers on the importance of understanding autism and the value of being trained to interact with individuals with special needs.

While at the department, Mann explored the building, equipment, and vehicles. He also took the opportunity to discuss autism with the officers, emphasizing the significance of reaching out and establishing training programs for those with special needs.

The Aberdeen Township Police Department expressed gratitude for Mann’s visit and the insight he provided, wishing him continued success on his awareness campaign.
