Absecon Police Are Giving Vouchers for Free Custard at Rita’s Italian Ice, Here’s How to Get One

ABSECON, NJ – Hey kids in Absecon, be on the lookout for the cops! That’s because they’re now armed with vouchers for free ice cream cones at Rita’s Italian Ice.

The Absecon Police Department is partnering with the Absecon Public School District, Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard and Dairy Queen (Treat) in promoting bicycle safety!

“Over the last few days and in the upcoming weeks, the Absecon Police Department will be issuing coupons for free Italian Ice and Ice Cream Cones to school aged children who are observed wearing their helmets,” the department said. “Those who are not wearing their helmets will be reminded of the benefits of doing so, and the State Law requiring all subjects under the age of 17 to wear a proper bicycle helmet.”

The Absecon Police Department requests the assistance of parents to help enforce helmet laws by making sure your child wears a one while biking/skateboarding/scootering.
