Academy Street Burglary and Assault Ends With Arrest

WILKES-BARRE, PA – On February 27, 2025, at 6:33 a.m., officers responded to a burglary and assault incident on Academy Street. The suspect, Adam Glaze, 34, of Wilkes-Barre, PA, allegedly broke into the victim’s residence.

The victim, a 34-year-old male from Wilkes-Barre, reported the entry and subsequent assault occurred while he was asleep. With assistance from his roommates, the defendant was restrained until police arrived.

Emergency medical services treated the victim at the scene. Meanwhile, the police took the defendant into custody and transported him to City Headquarters for processing.
