Wilkes-Barre, PA – On Saturday at 4:25 AM, Wilkes-Barre City Police were dispatched to East Ross Street for an aggravated assault incident. Officers arrived at the location near South Pennsylvania Avenue.
Witnesses reported that a victim was assaulted by three males, with one suspect striking the victim with a baseball bat. The suspects then left the scene in a dark-colored sedan.
Witnesses stated that the victim claimed he was “on parole” before fleeing the scene on foot. The police have been unable to locate the victim, and the investigation is ongoing.
