FORT WORTH, Texas – In a shocking incident, Chrisantus Omondi, a 27-year-old man staying at an Airbnb in Texas, has been arrested and charged with murder, aggravated assault against a security officer, and obstruction or retaliation. The charges stem from the brutal killing of 51-year-old Scott Edward Jackson, a firewood delivery driver.

According to Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA, Jackson and his daughter, Kasey De Leon, operated a firewood delivery business together. The attack occurred while Jackson was delivering firewood to a regular customer on Wendover Drive in Fort Worth. The customer, recounting the events, described a sudden and unprovoked attack by Omondi, who was completely naked during the incident.

The customer reported that while they were loading firewood, Omondi confronted them, falsely accusing them of trespassing and demanding they leave. Omondi then violently attacked both men. The customer, who sustained injuries, managed to escape to his house and call 911. Tragically, Jackson was not able to escape and was repeatedly struck with a piece of firewood, leading to his death.
