AKRON, OH — A routine traffic stop early Sunday morning led to the arrest of four individuals, including three juveniles, after police discovered multiple firearms in their vehicle. The Akron Police Department reported that the incident occurred around 12:20 AM at the intersection of 13th St. SW and Silvercrest Ave.

The vehicle was stopped after officers observed it nearly causing a crash. Upon discovering the juvenile driver was without a valid license, police instructed all occupants to exit the vehicle. During this process, one passenger attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended after tripping and falling.

A total of five firearms were recovered: two from the individuals and three additional guns from within the vehicle. The suspects, aged 14, 16, 17, and 20, were taken into custody following the discovery.
