Alert: NYPD Seeks Bronx Teen Missing Since Saturday

BRONX, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old boy from the Bronx. Johnathan Fernandez Bernandez, who was last seen near 171 Street in the 44th Precinct, on Sunday, August 18, at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Johnathan Fernandez Bernandez is described as a Black Hispanic male, standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a slim build. He has brown eyes, black hair, and weighs around 133 pounds. According to the NYPD, he was last seen wearing an orange shirt, black shorts, and blue Crocs.

The circumstances surrounding his disappearance are currently unclear, and the NYPD is actively investigating. “We urge anyone with information on Johnathan’s whereabouts to come forward,” the New York City Police Department said in a statement.

Police are encouraging anyone with information to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline. Photos and additional details about the missing teen are available through the NYPD’s public information office.

Authorities have not yet provided updates on the search, but efforts continue to locate the missing teenager.
