Authorities say detectives recovered a handgun, approximately 26 grams of cocaine and drug packaging materials during a search of an Allentown residence Friday morning.
Allentown, Pa. – An Allentown man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after police allegedly discovered a firearm and cocaine during the execution of a search warrant Friday morning.

According to the Allentown Police Department, detectives assigned to the Vice and Intelligence Unit, along with uniformed patrol officers, executed a search warrant at approximately 9:36 a.m. Friday at a residence in the 600 block of East Mosser Street.
Investigators said the search led to the recovery of a .22-caliber handgun, approximately 26 grams of cocaine and packaging materials commonly associated with narcotics distribution.
Multiple charges filed
Police identified the defendant as Kevin McCullers, 50, of Allentown. He has been charged with one count of persons not to possess firearms, a felony, and one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, also a felony.
McCullers additionally faces misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Investigation remains active
The Allentown Police Department said no additional information would be released at this time regarding the investigation.
