Allentown woman arrested after stabbing man during morning altercation in apartment

Allentown, PA – A woman was arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly stabbing a man in the hand during a domestic dispute inside an apartment on Linden Street, according to the Allentown Police Department.

At approximately 7:12 a.m. on November 18, officers responded to an apartment building in the 300 block of Linden Street for a reported stabbing. When they arrived, they found a 38-year-old man suffering from a minor stab wound to his hand.

Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Cassarah Brown of Allentown, who was reportedly in a relationship with the victim. She was taken into custody at the scene without incident, and the knife believed to have been used was recovered by officers.

Brown has been charged with the following:

  • Aggravated Assault (F2)
  • Simple Assault (M2)
  • Harassment (Summary Offense)

The investigation is ongoing, though police said there will be no further comment at this time.

All charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
