American Dream Mall Reopened After Black Friday Bomb Threat

November 24, 2023

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The American Dream Mall, located in the New Jersey Meadowlands Sports Complex, was briefly evacuated due to a bomb threat, as announced by Governor Phil Murphy on the X social media network on Friday. The mall is situated in the same complex that houses the New York Giants and Jets National Football League teams.

Governor Murphy stated that the mall was reopened following an investigation by law enforcement, which found no imminent threat. This decision came less than an hour after the initial directive for evacuation.

Details of the investigation remain limited, and both the police and mall representatives have not yet responded to requests for comments on the incident.
