GLEN BURNIE, MD—An early morning patrol led to the arrest of a theft suspect in Glen Burnie. Anne Arundel County Police responded to a call at approximately 4:40 AM on July 19, reporting a suspicious individual attempting to enter vehicles near Ridgely Road and Old Stage Road.

The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Julian Christopher Wise of Edgewater, Maryland, initially fled the scene, leading officers on a chase through residential backyards. He was eventually spotted and apprehended at 6:35 AM following a foot pursuit.

Upon arrest, Wise was found in possession of stolen money and gift cards. Police are currently making efforts to return the stolen items to their rightful owners. Wise’s arrest marks a significant response to auto theft activities in the area.
