Anne Arundel County Police welcomes three new officers

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — The Anne Arundel County Police Department has welcomed three new officers from Lateral Class 25-01, officials announced Thursday.

In a statement, the department congratulated the officers and expressed excitement about their addition to the force.

“This is a great time to join our agency,” the department said, highlighting competitive benefits for new recruits, including a $70,000 starting salary, a $10,000 signing bonus, and a take-home vehicle.

Additional incentives include a $3,500 property tax credit and a 20-year retirement plan.

The department continues to actively recruit officers and promote its hiring benefits.
