Another Jackson Business Bites the Dust for Well-Known Kosher Pizza Joint

JACKSON, NJ – Weeks after Farley’s Homemade Ice Cream announced it was shutting down in the Brewers Bridge Anillop Plaza, a second longtime Jackson-owned business has shut down.

Rosko’s Bagels, which was founded by longtime residents Kim Tetlak-Rosky and her husband Chris, has shut down. Rosky sold the business a few years ago, but it was operated under the same name until its closure last month.

After 28 years of serving ice cream to residents in Jackson, John Burnetsky closed his business in late September.

In their place will be a Kosher pizza chain restaurant brand, Fialkoff’s Kosher Pizza. The chain operates restaurants in Brooklyn, Florida, and Teaneck.

Fialkoff’s was founded in 1973 when Moshe Fialkoff arrived in America and began making pizza in Monticello, New York. It was a favorite destination among summer tourists to the area.

Eventually, Fialkoff brought his brand to the city and is now expanding to communities in New Jersey who are familiar with the brand either from their time in Brooklyn or from their days of summer camps in upstate New York.
