Argument Leads to One Dead Girl, 9 Others Shot

MILWAUKEE, WI – A tragic shooting at Dineen Park resulted in the death of a 17-year-old girl and injuries to nine others early Monday. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office reported that a large gathering of primarily teenagers at a car party in Dineen Park escalated into violence shortly before 12:30 a.m.

The incident began with a verbal altercation among several attendees, which led to at least one emergency call to 911. Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers discovered the young girl deceased and nine other individuals wounded.

Among the injured were eight gunshot victims and one young woman who was trampled, sustaining upper body injuries. The victims’ ages include a 15-year-old boy, five 18-year-old women, and two 18-year-old men, reflecting the youthful crowd gathered at the event.
