MANASSAS, V.A. — Authorities in Manassas are actively searching for a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old woman that occurred on July 18 in the area of Pineview Road and Cregger Lane.

Detectives have identified the suspect as 20-year-old German Joseth Torres Lizama, who is now facing charges of murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The investigation revealed that Torres Lizama and the victim, identified as Ashlin Yamileth Paz, were known to each other and that the incident occurred during a planned meeting at the location.
