Suspect in ski mask wanted after Southeast DC robbery

WASHINGTON, DC — A man wearing a ski mask and armed with a handgun is wanted in connection with a robbery late Wednesday night in Southeast DC, according to a crime alert from the Metropolitan Police Department.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:16 p.m. on January 29 in the 3000 block of Naylor Road SE. MPD units responded to the scene and are now searching for the suspect.

The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black jacket, blue pants, and a ski mask. He was reportedly armed with a handgun during the robbery.

No injuries were reported, and details regarding what was taken have not been released. Police are advising residents not to approach the suspect and to immediately report any sightings.
