Armed Robbery at West Street Intersection

ANNAPOLIS, MD – A robbery occurred at the junction of Gibraltar Avenue and West Street on December 13 at 11:17 AM. Two individuals, driving a silver Toyota Sienna, targeted a woman stopped at the intersection.

The suspects, after halting behind the victim’s vehicle, exited their car and forcibly entered hers. One, from the driver’s side, wielded a handgun, demanding the victim’s possessions. Simultaneously, the other suspect, from the passenger side, displayed a handgun concealed under his sweater.

The armed individual on the driver’s side seized medication and a purse from the victim. Following the robbery, both suspects returned to their vehicle and sped off towards Riva Road.

The victim, after the suspects’ departure, drove to a nearby parking lot and contacted the police to report the incident. Investigations are ongoing.
