Smoke shop raid nets drugs and rifle as armed suspect busted in Baltimore
BALTIMORE, Md. — A smoke shop operation came crashing down after a midday raid uncovered drugs, a rifle, and an armed suspect inside the store.
The bust unfolded around 1:11 p.m. on March 17 at a shop in the 2100 block of East Monument Street.
Detectives executing a search warrant recovered roughly two pounds of suspected cannabis, packaged for distribution.

Inside the business, a 22-year-old man was found wearing a ballistic vest labeled “Armed Security” while carrying a loaded rifle.
Investigators say the suspect had been observed multiple times allegedly selling cannabis products from the shop prior to the raid.
He was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he now faces multiple drug and firearms charges.
