BRONX, N.Y. — Three armed men made off with thousands of dollars and a high-value jacket during a robbery Sunday morning in the Bronx, according to police.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:17 a.m. on May 25, when the unidentified suspects entered a business located at 281 East 161st Street and displayed two firearms, authorities said.

Police said the men demanded money from store personnel and removed approximately $3,200 from the register. They also took a jacket valued at around $1,200 before fleeing the scene on foot.

The suspects were last seen traveling eastbound on 161st Street. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The NYPD has not released surveillance footage or further identifying details about the individuals, who are only described at this time as males.

An investigation into the robbery remains ongoing.
