NEW YORK, NY – A 57-year-old man was assaulted and robbed on June 14, 2024, in front of 95-06 Astoria Boulevard. The incident occurred just after midnight, where the victim was attacked by three individuals. One assailant struck him in the head multiple times with an unknown object while the others forcibly took his wallet and bag. The assailants fled eastbound on Astoria Boulevard.

The victim was transported by Emergency Medical Services to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was listed in stable condition. Following an ongoing investigation, police made a significant breakthrough.

On July 2, 2024, at 7:25 PM, Jonnathan Siguncia, a 22-year-old from 37-10 Warren Street, Queens, NY, was arrested within the 115 Precinct. He faces charges of first and second-degree robbery. However, the search continues for the two remaining suspects. They are both described as males with a medium complexion; one was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and white sneakers, while the other wore a gray tank top, tan shorts, and black sneakers.

The NYPD continues its search for these individuals and asks for the public’s help in identifying and locating them to assist in the ongoing case.
