Arrest Made in Boston Murder Investigation

BOSTON, MA – In a significant development in a local murder case, Boston Police arrested Triston Jules, a 37-year-old Mattapan resident, on Tuesday afternoon. Jules was apprehended around 2:00 PM at the intersection of Talbot Avenue and Whitfield Street, pursuant to warrants for murder issued by the Suffolk Superior Court. He is accused of the murder of 42-year-old George Deeble of Dorchester.

The arrest follows a tragic incident that occurred early on the morning of Saturday, April 27.

Boston Police officers were dispatched to the corner of Blue Hill Avenue and Fremont Street in Mattapan around 4:44 AM after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Deeble suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite prompt transportation to a local hospital by Boston EMS, Deeble was pronounced dead.

Jules is scheduled for arraignment at the Dorchester District Court. The investigation into the homicide, led by the Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit, is ongoing as detectives continue to gather more information.
