WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man has been arrested in relation to a stabbing incident in Southeast D.C. last Monday.
Officers from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department responded at around 3:14 p.m. at the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue to investigate a report of a stabbing. At the location, they found an adult male with stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
His condition is unknown at this time.
Robert Thompson, 66, of Southeast D.C., was arrested on Friday and has been charged with the stabbing.
