Atlantic City Legislator Slams Biden Decision to Bus Migrants to Shore

Atlantic City, NJ – Senator Vince Polistina has publicly criticized the Biden Administration for suggesting Atlantic City International Airport as a potential location to house migrants from New York City.

In a statement, Sen. Polistina said, “My message to President Biden and NYC Mayor Adams is ‘hell no!’ Atlantic County residents shouldn’t be forced to pay the price for the Biden Administration’s disastrous handling of our border and the outrageous ‘Sanctuary’ state and city policies of Democrats in Washington, New York, Trenton and across the country.”

The Senator called on Governor Murphy, as well as U.S. Senators Cory Booker and Robert Menendez, to join him in opposing this proposal.

He argued that moving unvetted migrants to the Atlantic City location would extend a humanitarian crisis to his constituents’ backyard.
