Attempted Robbery at Roosevelt Avenue Smoke Shop

NEW YORK, NY – An attempted robbery occurred inside a smoke shop at 78-01 Roosevelt Avenue on Wednesday evening. At around 8:15 PM, two unidentified individuals entered the store and confronted a 21-year-old male employee.

The suspects jumped over the counter, threatened the employee by simulating a firearm, and attempted to steal property from the store. However, they fled the scene on foot without taking any items. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

The police are actively seeking information on the suspects’ whereabouts and encourage anyone with knowledge of the event to come forward.
