Attempted Robbery in Glen Burnie Leads to Arrest

Glen Burnie, MD – A 59-year-old man was assaulted during an attempted robbery in Glen Burnie on Monday afternoon.

At approximately 12:50 p.m., authorities responded to an attempted robbery incident in the 300 block of Hospital Drive, Glen Burnie. The Anne Arundel County Police addressed the situation following a report of an assault on a 59-year-old male victim.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered that a female suspect had attacked the victim, striking him in the head and face. After the physical assault, the suspect attempted to rummage through the victim’s pockets before making her escape from the scene.

Law enforcement officers quickly worked to obtain a description of the suspect. This led to the suspect being positively identified and subsequently arrested within a short time frame.

The suspect has been identified as 38-year-old Sane Onchelle Forrester from Glen Burnie, Maryland. Further details on the charges were not disclosed.
