Bald man with gray beard wanted for late-night stabbing in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A stabbing in the 4000 block of 6th Street SE late Tuesday night has left police searching for a suspect described as a 40-year-old man armed with a knife.

The incident occurred at approximately 11 p.m. on December 17. The suspect is described as a Black male, bald with a gray beard, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. Police say the suspect fled the scene and remains at large.

No information about the victim or their condition has been released. Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call (202) 727-9099 or text the MPD’s anonymous tip line at 50411.

The case remains under investigation as officers work to gather additional details.
