Baltimore County Police arrest suspect in series of dirt bike thefts

TOWSON, MD — Baltimore County Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a string of dirt bike thefts that occurred in the Towson area between November 11 and December 22, 2024.

Keddric Anderson, 31, was taken into custody by detectives from the Towson Precinct for allegedly stealing six dirt bikes. Authorities reported that in at least three of the thefts, Anderson arranged to meet the victims through online marketplaces. During one encounter, the suspect reportedly displayed a handgun.

Anderson faces multiple charges, including assault, vehicle theft, and armed carjacking. He is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

The Baltimore County Police Department emphasized the availability of “Transaction Safe Zones” at all ten precincts, providing secure locations for in-person exchanges related to online purchases and child custody arrangements.

Police continue to investigate the thefts and have not ruled out the possibility of additional charges.
